All Japanese-Americans are related to the Japanese.
Then down here you say all again but then you said just the ones on the west coast.
All of the ones on the west coast. All were held, they didn't pick and choose.
Since you didn't answer my question I'll ask again. Did we just let Jap terrorists run around in our nation's capitol with the opportunity to do sabotage?
Yes, but they couldn't do much since the invasion would have been on the west coast.
In a constitutional republic you comprimise people's inalienable rights that are guaranteed to them? Ok so you don't have any respect for the Declaration of Independence because it's not a law?
The Declaration was a declaration of our actions and principles, the Constitution was the law.
Are you saying it means nothing, that it is worthless?
Thousands dies in the Revolutionary War, it certainly meant a lot and still means a lot for it states our principles.
Oh I know what happened but it is quite obvious you are a little hazzy on the details. First you say we rounded up all Japs...
all Japs on the west coast, we didn't pick and choose.
...and no Germans,...
I never said we didn't round up any Germans.
...then we rounded up only the Jap relatives,...
I said the Japanese-Americans are related to the Japanese, who invaded our airspace.
...then we again rounded up all the Japs again,...
All the ones on the west coast, we didn't pick and choose. If you knew your history, we wouldn't have to go through this.
...then we only rounded up those on the west coast, and now rounded up Germans and Italians, even though it was impractical,...
No, I said it was impractical to round them all up.
...then there was no round-up of Japs (I guess they just came willingly),...
I never said we didn't round up the Japanese-Americans.
...then there was a round-up of the Japs. Back and forth and back again, the fun never stops.
Because you don't know your history, every point has to be explained in detail. If I were discussing this with someone who knew about this issue, every detail wouldn't have to be explained and the conversation would go much smoother.
Ohh new twist now only almost all were rounded up on the west coast. So we only got some, not all on the west coast?
You're playing dumb because you're having a rough time. I would imagine there were a few that escaped internment. There is always a remnant.
So if we weren't more racist in the 40's because they weren't setting up gas chambers, then where in America today are we setting up gas chambers and killing other races, since that is what makes us a more racist country today?
Now see, if you would answer my posts in an intelligent matter so I would know what you were asking, things would go smoother. You read my post and then ask questions from here, there, and everywhere, and it's impossible to know what you're asking. Racists kill people of other races. There was nothing like gas chambers in America in the '40s, so I'd say that the people weren't any more racist than now, and as a matter of fact, I'd bet that more are killed for their race now than in the '40s.
Well since I don't live in New York, near any Chinatown, or Detroit how can I have been in a position to live there?
Why not? You love to live around other races so much, why do you just so happen to live where you're not outnumbered by another particular race?
I just told you I live in the Latin Buisness District. You need proof of residence to say whether someone is prejudice or not?
I'd bet there are many whites in your neighborhood if you're white.
See you don't answer the question, you only talk about two specifics. I will ask again, are you saying that some rockstars do not pray or attend a church?
I'm saying that rock stars and preachers don't hang out together, generally.
I thought you said ask any question and you will answer? Why all the tap-dancing?
What tap-dancing?
We are discussing American intern camps, not Jap POW camps. I don't think there is an American alive who thinks what the Japs did to Americans was right (except maybe Jane Fonda).
So you're not interested in the crimes committed against Americans, but want to put down the '40s generation for interning the Japanese. You appear to be just looking for an excuse to put down the heroic generations that came before us, calling them immoral, wrong, etc.
