You are not the only one to notice the "loud silence" emanating from many mosques. Where is the self-questioning and contrition for the evil acts of their co-religionists. I read the Koran, at different sites on the web. I am troubled by what I find there, for example Sura 9:5 and other passages in that section entitled "The Immunities." Hatred and disgust for the beliefs of others with the name "religion" tacked on doesn't make it anything other than what it is: vile.

"If you have any information about terrorist activities, please report this to the FBI"

I haven't seen anything like this from U.S. muslims. And if ANYONE can spot the BAD muslims in their communities in U.S. cities wouldn't it be the OTHER muslims, who'd recognize someone new or someone suspicious or someone recruiting others to violence or committing sedition?

My heart felt reaction

FUCK YOU!

(Have a friend "vaporized" in the building...and it brings on a whole new meaning.)

I am amazed that those clowns did not try at all to diferentiate or at least to distance them selves from the rotten kind of their ilk.
To show that, according to their so called message to the american people a condemnation to say the least is in order, for the atrocious act of 911. Nothing whatsoever, except the usual mushi PR crap coming from some hired professional guns. No sympathy from this pilgrim...

"Our enemy is a neighborhood mosque defaced by vandals"

That may be THEIR enemy, but OUR enemy is the turbaned nut preaching death to all infidels from the pulpit within the mosque.

What else can we expect from the Islam(PlanesIntoBuildings)ic mob?

The civilized world had better wake up and get as serious about our survival as the Mohammedans are about our annihilation.

Here's my problem with the ad -- by the very nature of the text being shaped into the Twin Towers, it draws a moral equivalance between a neighborhood shopkeeper being hassled and 3000 people's deaths. To even compare the two is insulting.

I'll tell you what I think about this. The American Arab Institute did not want this act of terror, they aren't used to apologizing for the acts of Terrorists, and they really don't know where to start. It's a crude and simplistic ad, not much subtlety. But it is an acknowlegement.

So let's get back to the business at hand: Ridding the world of the Terrorists and those who support them. No negotiation, no peace treaty. Just gone.

While I think it's wrong to do some of those things I really don't have too much sympathy. Where is their condemnation of the acts? I'm still waiting to see evidence of it. It is hard to see them as anything other than "them" when they don't take a stand against the enemy as Americans.

Nothing I like better than to be lectured on American Values by a bunch of johnny-come-lately "New Americans" who are already masters of the vacuous cliche.

ROFL. I love it. Quote of the day!

I'm sorry Right Whale - I have respect for you..

but they are minimizing the VAPORIZATION of my friend who for all our sorry luck happened to be in the first tower on Sept. 11.

The ad sucks....there is nothing they can say. Nothing they can do. NOTHING. They - The Arab fucking League - makes me sick.

Your thoughts on this? Still thinking it over myself.

If they were living in any other counntry than America, they would be experiencing the Arab version of Kristallnacht........but they aren't.....

.........which shows the dedication to freedom we have here in America.

However, don't take advantage of that fact, or discover another fact about Americans.........that whether you wear a red coat, or white turban, if you engage in activities that result in the rest of USA 'sacrificing' freedoms, you can swim for it.

They could do alot to transform "hate" by not applauding and laughung during reruns of 911! They could do more to make us aware that they stand with the rest of us in condemnation of what was done on 911! They could cough up a terrorist or two who live in their midst. They could stop the HATE that they teach in their classes and meetings. Perhaps then the hate will cease.

Within hours of the attacks on Sept 11, one network had a feature on an elementary school in New York and how the little Arab children there were so hurt because they'd been called names or maybe STARED AT.

Amen, brother. I didn't see any acknowledgement at all. Just a self-serving whine about how we disrespect the supportive friends of those who ruthlessly murdered our innocent, defenseless people. Tacky and crude. These seventh century savages just can't seem to catch on to civilized behavior. From what I've seen, they need to grow a soul, or just get the hell out of our country. (Aw heck. Skip the OR, JUST GET THE HELL OUT!)
