Man stitches lips together after wife's sex talk complaint

A newlywed husband in southern India has stitched his lips together after his wife ordered him to stop swearing during sex.
His wife said she was sick of his habit and told him to shut up.
She says he looked like a monkey when she found him and wonders if she's married the right man.
Rudrappa Mugalkod, a 32-year old farmer from Karnataka's Kilabanur village, took the action when his wife Satyabhama complained after they'd had sex, the Patrike newspaper reports.
The paper says she asked him to "shut up" before rolling over in bed and going to sleep.
Her husband got up, sat at a table and stitched his lips together. His wife found him the next morning huddled in a corner and bleeding from the mouth.
"It was terrible. With his mouth sealed and face swollen he looked like a monkey. I'm beginning to wonder if I have married some kind of idiot. It's nice to have an obedient husband but I didn't realise he would go this far," she said.
Mr Mudalkod, who had the stitches removed at hospital, says he was too drunk to feel the pain.
"It was a simple matter really. She wanted me to seal my lips and I did just that to show how much I respected her wishes," he added.

How much do you want to bet that they "saved themselves" for the honeymoon? If they had screwed around before exchanging "I do's" then perhaps they could have avoided the inevitable divorce.
