Ahhh... Spent about a year in Birmingham. Coming from Illinois, life in the South was a bit of a culture shock for me at first, but as time passed I learned to enjoy my time there very much.

What's so much different about Birmingham? When was this culture shock, because Birmingham is a beautiful city. We could say that Illinois is nothing but farmland, of which most of it is, unless you're talking about Chicago, Peoria, and Springfield.
