IMHO, no. If he does ascend to the throne, I figure he should be close to 70 or so considering how long-lived the Windsor women seem to be. (If you take into account the amount of booze and cigarettes Princess Margaret consumed, that she lived to be 71 is truly remarkable. If she had taken better care of herself, she might have seen 100, like her Mother.) Also, Larry King had some Brits on the other day and the subject of Queen Elizabeth leaving the throne and giving it to Charles came up. Seems that there is a rule about that and that the English Monarchy is different in this way than other royal houses in Europe. There is no mechanism for abdication in the British form of monarchy. (They didn't cover severe illness; but, just Elizabeth deciding to step down. Not likely.) So, Charles is going to have to wait for the current Queen to die, and that could be another 30 years.
