This happens all the time in skating. The 'judges' have their favorites and the rest are history. Why is anyone surprised. Last night on NBC they interviewed the Canadians and the guy said that they just have to put the medal aside and go on to the next performance, that this sort of thing happens all the time. He said they know they did their best and that was what really counted. She said she's heart broken and it helps that 96% of the people who did the NBC.com poll said the Canadians should have won.

Darell Hammond or Will Ferrell?
To: section9
Hi Chris, I wasn't paying attention during the Nagano Games. What happened with that scandal that was referred to by Scott Hamilton? Thanks!
To: codebreaker

This guy is a PR disaster. He should stick to "spinning" pizza pies.

We all saw the USA - Soviet Union basketball game; we all know who won; we all know who got the medal. And in a bank vault in Munich, the American team's silver medals remain unclaimed nearly 30 years after the event.

I wonder if he has figured out that this is not having the outcome that he had hoped for. ROTFLOL

What a huge effing scam. I hope to God that someone goes to the Department of Justice about this. The Eurotrash come here to our great country to pull this crap? The only way to make them understand is to start threatening legal action.

Wasn't that the ice-dancing judging scandal where the Canadians were similarly shafted? That was was so blatant that ice dancing was told to clean up their act or they were out of the Olympics.
To: section9
I hope to God that someone goes to the Department of Justice about thisThis is an INTERNATIONAL issue. They'll have to go to Koffi Inane or bring it before the World Court Jesters.
To: Chief Inspector Clouseau
He is on the case!
