For concealed carry purposes I recommend a Glock 27. The downside is if your not familiar with this type of weapon and even if you are you will need to - practice, practice, practice. Keep your eye in the front sight and squeeze the trigger, don't try to pull it. There is a certain amount of muzzleflip that you will get used to with practice. The "Limp Wrist" issue is more often then not the operator not the gun. "To grip it right, grip it tight". This doesn't mean squeze the snot out of it but be firm. For practice I use Excel 180 gr with WST powder. When I'm carrying I use Federal Personal Defense 135 gr Hydra-shok. Check out GlockTalk.com - great site for info and more. Good Luck! Agreed! The G27 requires constant practice to "stay sharp". Tested a G27 vs a G19 today by firing about 50 rounds thru each across a creek at various "natural" targets 1" to 2" diameter at a 20 feet to 50 feet range. The G27 is less accurate/requires more concentration to get "hits"(and control on 2-shot)while the G19 hit almost everything it was pointed at(yeah these were targets about the size of a silver dollar). The Glock is kinda' like the AK of pistols....fairly simple, no tool takedown/clean, and excels in reliablility. The 45 Kimber(like a Ruger 22) has a much better "feel"....
