Unless things have changed in the last 30 years, I believe you are misinformed. t\The only time they came to our house was to find out why we hadn't been to church in the last 2 weeks and to collect money for "Fast Sunday" to feed poor mormons. They never searched my house or they would have found my mother smoking like a chiminy.

I have friends of mine that used to have to scurry around and hide their cigarettes, tea, beer, vodka when the elders came to the door. And yes they looked around the various rooms. Eventually all this hiding of stuff every time the elders came made them so nervous they left the church and promtply were told that they were officially 'un-baptised'. LOL
