Caffeine is not prohibited

Actually from what I recall only Alcohol and "hot drinks" and "cold drinks" are prohibited. That means you can drink anything as long as it doesn't contain alcohol and as long as it is lukewarm. (barf)

Cocaine, Marjuana, Heroin are not mentioned in the "word of wisdom" either. A lot of my Mormon cousins took that to heart.

You are correct on the alcohol part, the 'hot drinks' part refers to coffee and tea, and not because of the caffeine but because of other harmful chemicals that they contain (such as tannic acid). I don't know where you found the part about the 'cold drinks'. I personally enjoy a Coke every now and again, and not the luke-warm kind. Oh yeah, incase you didn't guess, I'm one of those mormons.

LOL... I think that the reason that those particular substances are not mentioned is because they were not an issue back in the day. I promise, they are frowned upon now.
