This sentence in the article is what caught my eye -

"A statement by the NEA said the information schools provide should be age-appropriate, nonjudgmental and relevant to subject matter being studied."

The word "nonjudgemental" makes this whole thing unconstitutional. It infringes on our constitutional rights to have free exercise of our religion.
We do not want our children being taught, at taxpayers expense too, that it's ok to be gay.
In the free exercise of our faith we believe it is sinful and immoral.
The "judgement" has already been made.

More about "Celebrating Diversity":

National Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Bestiality Necrophilia Sadomasochism Pride March History Month commemorates the first gay, lesbian, bestial, necrophile, and sadomasochism pride marches on Washington in October 1979 and October 1987. Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Bestiality Necrophilia Sadomasochism Pride March History Month not only serves as a time to study gay, lesbian, bisexual, bestial, necrophile, sadomasochist, and transgender history, but to provide an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of gay, lesbian, bestial, necrophile, sadomasochist, bisexual and transgender people to world history.

Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Bestiality Necrophilia Sadomasochism Dates in History
Several events mark significant contributions in gay, lesbian, bestiality, necrophilia, sadomasochism, bisexual and transgender history. These events and contributions include:

1772:

The Marquis de Sade is imprisoned. He would not be freed until the French Revolution in 1789.

1972:

Alice Cooper releases the album "School's Out". This album contains the song "I Love the Dead", which would become a pride anthem for the necrophiliac movement.

1983: Representative Gerry Studds of Massachusetts becomes one of America's first openly gay Congresspersons.

1986: Representative Gerry Studds is censured by Congress for the sexual abuse of a page. A heterosexual Congressperson who did likewise is also censured. This marks a milestone in the equal treatment of sexual orientation under the law.

1995: President Bill Clinton declares a "don't ask, don't tell" policy for people of all sexual orientations in U.S. government service. Most of the U.S. military tacitly declares solidarity with the gay, lesbian, bestiality, necrophilia, sadomasochism, bisexual and transgender communities by observing this policy.

Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Bestiality Necrophilia Sadomasochism Statistics
Earlier this year, a poll was taken to determine progress made relative to gay, lesbian, bestiality, necrophilia, sadomasochism, bisexual and transgender issues. While the survey shows growing acceptance of equal rights for certain sexual orientations, many gay, lesbian, bestial, necrophile, sadomasochist, bisexual and transgender individuals still see discrimination. Specifically:
  • 99.9% of American workplaces do not specifically guarantee equal rights for practitioners of bestiality, necrophilia, or sadomasochism.
  • 87% of Americans have never heard the term "Affectional Preference".
  • 69% of Americans who have heard the term "Affectional Preference", confuse it with "Sexual Orientation". (Affectional Preference sometimes simply means, you still live with your mother. It is to be hoped that Sexual Orientation does not enter into such a relationship.)
  • 57% of Americans consider bestiality, necrophilia and sadomasochism to be no more morally acceptable than pedophilia, despite numerous legal judgements stating that pedophilia constitutes child abuse.

While the gay, lesbian, transsexual, bestiality, necrophilia, and sadomasochism movements have made great progress, there's obviously still a long way to go.

Celebrating Diversity messages help us raise our awareness and increase our knowledge about the rich resources we enjoy through our diversity. Celebrating Diversity messages are produced by caring, sharing individuals who volunteer their time to share with us special events related to their culture, experience, beliefs, or background.
