I'd rather execute the drug dealers and create a deterrent rather than have my sister -- a pharmacist -- have to be exposed to selling drugs to losers that want to get high.

Why do you feel the only way to solve domestic problems is through violence against citizens? Don't you have any other ideas besides, "Kill! Kill! Kill!"? I am a Catholic so I believe that God is the only entity that should be in charge of life and death not men trying to further their political goals.

Ironic, that libertarians want "small government," but want the government to regulate drugs. Rather, hypocritical and revealing.

I am not a libertarian nor have I said I was one. So I don't know where you came up with that. I prefer not to label myself with political groups as most of these groups are lead by egotistical jerks.

Drug dealers or no drug dealers, legalizing drugs will and has increased drug usage, including usage of harder drugs. Considering that 26-29% of all murderers were high on drugs and that up to 70% of all criminals in prison were high on drugs, legalization would be result in a dramatic increase in crime.

Most of these crimes are committed to fund the incredibly high cost of street drugs. So you are sort of arguing cause and effect. If the cost was reduced, these individuals would require less crime in order fund their habit. So far, the laws have failed to prevent the crime you are railing against.

Further, we already lose more people each year to drunk driving than to murder. Why need we need more losers using drugs, intoxicated and killing innocent people.

You want another prohibition on alcohol? Why be hypocritical with just "street drugs"? Alcohol causes more crime and violence in our nation than all the street drugs combined. Plus these "druggies" are already out there and using. Its not like you are going to start taking drugs if its legalized. Why do you think you are vastly more superior than the rest of us? That we would be so easily tempted to drop everything and live in opium dens. If drugs are legalized, I am not going to go out and become a junkie.

Frankly, I would feel safer in a room filled with stoners than a room filled with drunks. The worst thing that might happen with the stoners is that they might steal my Chocolate Chip Cookies and force me to watch Sponge Bob Square Pants. Oh wait, that isn't the stoners, thats my nieces and nephews. :)

Do you have any conservative ideas in regard to criminal justice? You stop behavior that threatens society and innocent people with punishment. That is a conservative idea. Legalizing negative behavior is liberal concept.

Further, crime increased dramatically in this nation when marijuana was legalized and when drug laws were lessened. Crime has increased in the Netherlands since marijuana was legalized and since drug laws were lessened.

The majority of crime is committed by those high or drunk.
