"Those are a few of my objections to liberals and liberalism. Looking strange has little to do with it. Tyranny, fraud, parasitism, intellectual sloven laziness, involuntary servitude, self-centeredness, servitude to the self-centeredness of others, immaturity, arrogance, irresponsibility, resentfulness and hatred, stupidity, manipulativeness, indolence, demogogery are a few more appropriate terms that come to mind. These are terms that were once accurately applied, but have unfortunately fallen out of usagealong with the necessary truths that their usage conveyed."
Necessary Truth---
only necessary for realatarians/republicans---not necessay for liberal/libertarians(anarchists) all toked up-- numb/dumb!!

Glock. .45 caliber for carry. Winchester 12 ga. defender for home defense. M60 for the h*ll of it.

You're right, they had been.
But the whole thing was ratcheted up under Reagan. I recall news reports at the time of people having their boats seized because a roach was found on board.

And I hear Daschle's pro-life, but it doesn't make him a conservative.
This is an example of a thread where people just argue for the sake of arguing. FR is NOT hostile to social conservatives.
Hyphens DIVIDE, folks! Geez.
Peace, OWK.

fair enough. But that doesn't make the site hostile.

The Second Law states that all physcial systems go from order to disorder, use up available energy, decay and die.
The idea that living things or the earth is exempt from that law is absurd. I've got about a dozen quotes from scientists stating the Second Law applies to all systems, open or closed. The sun does not decrease entropy and, in fact, raw solar energy increases entropy.
One would have to rewrite the Second Law to exempt living things or this planet from it.

And, only the ignorant don't remember how much more drug use there was in the 1970s in the Cheech and Chong, "joker-smoker-midnight-toker" decadeI guess that makes me ignorant(does it count that I wasn't born until 1971?)

The same arguments libertarians and liberals have used for decades in regard to abortion and homosexuality are now being applied to drug use. If you oppose drug use, you oppose "freedom," according to libertarians. They also don't care much for capitalism. For example, a number of them on FR want to abolish corporations. Limited liability offends the Rand goddess, or some such nonsense.

Do you have any conservative ideas in regard to criminal justice? You stop behavior that threatens society and innocent people with punishment. That is a conservative idea. Legalizing negative behavior is liberal concept.
Further, crime increased dramatically in this nation when marijuana was legalized and when drug laws were lessened. Crime has increased in the Netherlands since marijuana was legalized and since drug laws were lessened.
The majority of crime is committed by those high or drunk.

They also don't care much for capitalism. Libertarians don't care much for capitalism?
BWAAAAA HAHAHAHAhahahahahahah!!!!!
That's your best one yet.

The majority of crime is committed by those high or drunk. And so it is safe to assume you favor a return to prohibition of alcohol.... correct?

The government should periodically auction limited term leases of common property, and distribute the proceeds to citizens, kind of like a special dividend based on a non-recurring income item. Lease the right to transmit through the private property of other citizens without reimbursement or consent? Sounds like a violation of Libertarian "principles."
You talkin' to me? I'm a Republican. And two more things: Periodic leases of broadcast spectrum would provide income to citizens. You may have a fancier theory on who deserves how much, but can you agree that paying out based on community property income would be a Good Idea? Secondly, this should not apply just to broadcast spectrum, but tangible property and government-held intellectual property as well. If people viewed themselves as owners of government assets, with the government as "property manager" that would solve a broad spectrum of problems.

It's called freedom of association, Roscoe. It's stupid to discriminate, but it should not be illegal.

See what I mean???
Nobel Prize for sure!
Start practicing your acceptance speech, Roscoe! LOL!

What a dumb point. I opppose children being used as prostitutes, so I oppose capitalism. I oppose a company in the United States selling weapons to the Hamas, so oppose capitalism. I oppose the activities of the Mafia, so I oppose capitalism. And I oppose the legalization of drugs, so I oppose capitalism.

BWAAAAA HAHAHAHAhahahahahahah!!!!! Hysteria?
Corporate officers enjoy limited liability for corporate debt. I seen any number of self-proclaimed libertarians on FR rail against that.
How about you?

Hysteria? You bet your ass...
I haven't laughed at you that hard since yesterday.
You used to at least manage a halfay credible flavor of sophistry.
Now you've moved on to utter idiocy.
What happened?
