Democracy
U.S. Constitution | 2/602 | Conway

Posted on 02/06/2002 9:12:18 PM PST by conway

Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner. A citizen is a well armed sheep being able to contest the outcome. How did we get turned into a democracy when Artcle four section 4 of our Constitution says that the Federal Government has to guarantee to the Stateas a Republican form of government?

TOPICS: Constitution/Conservatism; Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS:
In 1913 we got the 16th and them 17th amendments along with the Federal Reserve Act turning us into a democracy and giving control of our currency to privat individuals.

Our Senators are supposed to be appointed by our state legislature and cannot at the time elected be an inhabitant of the State from which he is chosen.

Our President is supposed to be elected by people not holding public office in our state and appointed by our legislators in the number of senators and members of the House of Representives.

Voters were to be mature men and women contributing to the government by either giving money or serving in the military of the U.S. In other words, if you werent a producer you couldn't vote. Now, the dregs of our society vote people into office that plunder the producers. Like the Hilda Beast.

Our founders were very aware of the dangers of democracy and tried to prevent it by not having the House, senate and Presdnt answering to the same constituancy to get re elected.

A Republican form of government is a government where the supreme power lies in the hands of the people who can vote for representatives who are bound in their actions by law (Constitutonal Law.)

A Democracy is majority rule. (Democracy is mob rule.)

Now you know.

A republic is nothing but a democracy with a time lag. People have a right to vote themselves or each other into slavery under either system of government. In a republic the paper work to do so is just a bit more complex.

First, we have to realize the importance of our Constitution. A citizen is not a subject. He/she owes allegiance to a government and is entitled to protection fromm it.

So how do we protect ourselves from government? With guns and a Constitution of course.

Our two party monoply on governing has never had a serious challenge. So, I have formed a "Citizens Party" and wrote a citizens hand book which, gives a working knowledge of your rights and duties.

I'm doing radio shows exposing what our gvernment has become. Constant vigilance means you know your document and can spot when it's being violated.

Thanks for the query citizen.

O K now give us something constructive. I just know you have a great and ideal government you would like to share with us. So far there is communism, kings, dictators, anarchists, and us. Go ahead.......

The only system og government that works is a mature, sane, delf-disciplined populace. Failing that, all else will be corrupted.

Thanks for the heads up. Actually, I couldn't find anything in the const about who votes. That quote came from Thomas Jefferson and I added the women part.

All laws which are repugnant to the constitution are null nd void. U.S. Supreme court Marbury V Mason 2 cranch 5 U.S. 1803

Our constitution clearly states there will be no bill of capitation. The sixteenth amendment contradicts that.

rticle V of the Constitution tells usm how the Constitution can be ehanced (changed) and an "Act" isn't there. The Federal Reserve Act is illegal becaus it superceeds the clause in Article One sect eight where congress has the power to coin money etc.. The War Powers Act and the Trading with the enemies act fall into the same category.

"An unconstituional Act is not law, it confers no rights:it imposes no duties; it affords no protection; it creates no office; it is, in leagl contemplation as inoperative as though it had never been passed." U.S. Sureme Court Norton V Sheby County 118 U.S. 425,442

I think you're the greatest. For me, my litmis test is, if it leads to liberty, I'll buy. If it leads to enslavement, I don't care about the legality of the argument. I'm a citizen and am entitled to protection from the government I owe allegiance to.

"Protection" is a rather nebulous term, particularly in the context of some of the debates on this forum. Please clarify your interpretation of appropriate government protection.

The definition can be found in any dictionary. Just look up the word cicizen. The only protection we have from government is law in the form of a Constitution. Since 1933 we have been undern a state of emergencie declared by congress that did away with the constitution and made Amerika a bannana republic with our pesident a dictator. It is called the "War Powers Act" of 1933 and you can get it up on your server.

There is a trading with the enemnies act included therein which makes you and I enemieas of the state.

Look it up and you will see how our president can act on his own outside the confines we laid down for him in our Constitution.
