I don't understand why you and others say the Glock requires a higher IQ to operate than other weapons with more external controls, like safeties and decockers.
In my book, fewer operating parts and controls means simpler. I like the Sigs and Beretas too, but I wanted a high tech revolver with more than 6 shots. That's a Glock. You load it, you rack the slide, and then you know that all you have to do is pull the trigger and it goes boom.
