Wow--I woke up today to see my two favorite article posters putting up a tribute to Ronald Reagan on his 91st birthday!

Thank you both! JH2--for the beautiful heartfelt essay on a man that history has only began to measure the contributions of, and kattracks, a wonderful photo tribute showing this great man in both his strength and his gentleness.

It brought tears to my eyes to remember how fortunate and blessed we are as a nation that God gives us the best leaders in times of crisis, including today.

God bless you, President Reagan...and Happy Birthday!

For the Gipper........

Aside from his longevity, Ronald Reagan is quite a remarkable man. He spoke very prophetically about the ever tightening stranglehold of the federal beaurocracy and of the eventual welfare state it will take us in due course. Think about this folks. Your United States Federal and State withholdings, all the tax you pay on your food (New Mexico), gasoline, cigarettes, etc... are several times what the government of the People's Republic of China withhold from their citizens to make ends meet, adjusting for average income per household, inflation and so forth. Just remember who is pink.
