You are a sad little cynic.
Yeah, enough of all this bother we have taken on, among our many other self-imposed responsibilities as the world's leading nation and economy, of assuring a steady oil supply for the world. Without it the world economy will collapse, and hundreds of millions will die in a killing global depression; but America will suffer less than most, and can squeak by on domestic reserves. Hell with the little brown people. Let 'em die.
Enough of this globalization and free trade as well. It just lets ordinary people and small businesses participate in the game. Better we re-erect barriers which only allow the big well connected corporations with lots of lawyers to operate globally.
Actually, I'm a happy little Christian Constitutionalist who is chagrined by seeing his once-free nation destroyed because the masses are too stupid to realize that they're being conquered.
But then again, cynicism means never having to say you're disappointed :)
