Well, the Ithaca Journal actually published something from a conservative on this topic today.

However, being the "liberal" media, rather than print it as a stand-alone letter, or even a guest column (the way they did with the liberal opinions), the buried it in their heavily truncated "Darts and Laurels" section.

DART: From Robert Bart of Ithaca on the lack of respect for conservative viewpoints on campuses: "Recently The Journal published letters exchanged between Assemblyman Marty Luster and Sen. Joseph Lieberman regarding the controversial 'Defending Civilization' report. In his letter, Luster proudly presented his status as a loyal Democrat and an ACLU Honor Roll recipient, so naturally he had to be at odds with a report criticizing liberal policies at universities. Political correctness, though, is a fact, and woe to those who would voice an opposing viewpoint. Perhaps that is why conservatives like William F. Buckley Jr., Pat Buchanan or Jeanne Kirkpatrick are seldom invited to speak at liberal universities, and when they do appear they are usually greeted by left-wing hecklers."

Ithaca is the City of Evil.
