Have to say that I personally am pro-life, though I don't think the nation is ready to have Roe-v-Wade (however bogus) reversed and whatnot... I'd find it hard to fault a woman for having an abortion in a case of rape/incest/life of the mother, however...

Way I see it, the reason feminists and other women cling so tightly to their "right to choose" is, it's a quick fix for the inconvenient natural results of poor judgment...

Partisan Hack's post #29 about the illegals banging like rabbits reflects fairly mainstream liberal views on this-- but if Planned Parenthood types start dictating which poor lil' immigrant kids can reproduce (and you know that PP involvement would pretty much be coercion of these poverty-stricken uneducated non-English-speaking women; "informed consent" would be a ludicrous concept in this case, IMO), at what arbitrary point is a line to be drawn? Maybe nationwide testing should be instituted for the right and privilege to reproduce-- with education, income, health and medical history, and attitudes being prominent factors in the decision.

You know I'd be one of the first to undergo mandatory sterilization, haha...

I hear what you're saying, Hack, and I understand your attitude from the viewpoint of a p!ssed-off taxpayer and whatnot... I just don't think mass abortions are the answer... Tougher border patrol, maybe.

I'm not arguing mandatory abortions, just access to them without fear of stigma or reprisal.

My mother thinks that birth control should be put in the city water system!
