I don't know. Does it matter?

My point is, life is too short to worry if Rush is a true conservative, or if Rush sold us out, or if Rush spends too much time talking about golf, football or whatever.

Rush is an entertainer, with a bias. I happen to agree with the bias, and I happen to enjoy it when he pokes fun at the other side. But he is not an elected official, and he owes us nothing other than entertainment. If he stopped being entertaining, people will quit listening, his ratings will go down, and he will be off the air.

Do I think this will happen anytime soon? No.

Enjoy Rush for who he is, but don't complain if he is not doing what you want him to do.

Who isn't "an entertainer" and who doesn't have "a bias"?

Consider the "guests" on other shows, they're "government grown". In Rush's case he is showing you what success really is, those who participated on Friday were a small example, yet very good idea of who these athletes really are. They showed us what personal desire can achieve, how success can benefit the economy, and the ways these people contribute back to where they came from with again the flaming desire to achieve a better society.

That's the football and golf the other "entertainers" don't care to bore their vast audiences with. Hannity's been in many of the golf tournaments, describes them, and his pictures are on site occasionally. Listen to him talk about the generosity of his community and the reasons why he decided to stay there instead of taking all of his money and moving to Naples.

I wasn't at all surprised when Rush plugged the spin nut for tight future competition. And I wasn't surprised to hear Matthews whine about the contract he signed a year ago. Rush wants to buy an NFL team and Matthews feels like he was cheated.
