Ha! Maybe your logic would work in cases from one hundred years ago, but these days maternal deaths rates are very low. This has nothing to do with "church groups" but rather medical fact. Pregnancy is not a disease or a "medical condition", it is a natural physiological process and with appropriate medical care, very safe. The time for "choice" before any human behavior is before you act, not after.
