Nice homepage, Happygal, that hurling sport looks a lot like lacrosse, a sport invented by the Iroquois indians, and played at a lot of northeastern US colleges. (It was featured in the movie Love Story, if you saw it.)

As much as I might like ye Lucius...hurling ain't like no prissy Lacross! *LOL*..My men (amateurs all)...go out there with their limbs and the rest of their bodies endangered (and that's no joke!!) (half of them are crippled after spending their lives at the sport). But they do it ``why''??. For the passion and pride of representing their people.

Ye know what kills me?

Being born female. Because if I was a man born in my town...NOTHING...but NOTHING..be it learning skill, or sheer determination would keep me off the County team. There's NO honour greater.
