I was over on MSNBC. Brian and Howard Fineman both summed it up when they talked about the dilemma the Dim-o-crats face after this speech. (Not good for the Dims)

I think they're responding like I did. It wasn't the strongest speech I've ever heard (though it was good), but it DID WHAT IT HAD TO DO. GWB is in an incredibly strong position coming out of that chamber tonight. Gephartd looks like "yesterday". W looks like tomorrow. Am I happy? You betcha!
