TALLAHASSEE, Florida (CNN) -- The daughter of Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was arrested early Tuesday after she allegedly tried to fill a false prescription at a pharmacy, Tallahassee, Florida, police said.
Noelle Bush was picked up by police at a Walgreens store and charged with fraudulently obtaining a controlled substance, a jail spokesman said. Police said she was attempting to obtain Xanax, which is used to treat anxiety disorder. The drug can make users feel drowsy and dizzy as it reduces nervousness and tension.

Besides which, this is PERSCRIPTION DRUG fraud.
LOL!!!! Ok, what's the moral distinction?
Yes, 1977. There are also other pics of this arrest around as well.
They do that at the California DMV too!
I ABSOLUTELY HATE all drugs, whether they are legal or illegal. However, there are times when they are NECESSARY. As long as one is well informed as to the side effects and acts accordingly, prescription drugs CAN help.
Your son's "real" doctor has assessed your son's situation and is concerned. That's why he gave the prescription. He doesn't want your son to end up as a "statistic" of divorced fathers who commit suicide. I, myself, know two. I wish THEY could have had your son's doctor. They might still be alive today.
Everyone knows GW was doing cocaine in his party days, and his family kept him out of any trouble relating to it. Personally, I don't care, I think at least that's much better than a president who couldn't even smoke a joint properly. It proves he was human. But it also shows that the privileged can do drugs and get away with it, while the common people are stuck with jail sentences.
Besides which, this is PERSCRIPTION DRUG fraud.
Basically the same. Doctors can get cocaine too, and marijuana in some studies now (or in certain states if it weren't for federal government intrusion). Does that mean if I snag some coke or pot, I'm just committing fraud?
I agree with you 100%, but tell that to GW's new "Don't treat'em, just jail'em" drug czar. And we thought we couldn't do any worse than Generalissimo McCaffrey, we were wrong.
I didn't know she was rich... and she definitely ain't powerful
there is not any evidence of that. Whenever someone starts off with 'everyone knows'... its usually NOT true
Scary, ain't it?
For the record, I disagree with your crass remark. We have no clue as to the details of this charge and absolutely no proof of any drug habits in the Bush family. Obviously, this young lady is having problems and I pray that with her family's assistance and God's blessing she will overcomes them.
I don't think my sarcasm came across well enough. Because she is of the privileged class, I'm sure she'll get all the help she needs instead of jail time.
Did you, or did you NOT read the lastest directive from Jim Robinson ?
Now, give me your source , which had best be unimpeachable, or apologise.
Oh, and BTW, doctors, who write phoney scrip, steal any med / get caught taking dope, go to trial and regularly get thrown in jail. Laws are NOT there to be broken.
as opposed to NOT being human??
you need rehab
Sarcasm.
Oh yes, thats new.... never happened before in history
So, how did you come up with your screen name?
