To: palo verde
At Fort Sill, the coyotes are completely unafraid of people.
May have changed since I was there, though. That was 1996. Even Fort drum here in New York has changed since then.
Coyotes at Drum as well. New York is having a resurgence in the population. Official word is that they aren't there. But then a kid gets nipped by one in the suburbs and people freak out.
I do miss the 'wide woods'. Strange thing: I've never gotten lost in the woods. Hopefully it will never be.
I remember being out on a long hike once, and crashing out in a pine tree for a few hours. Sap took forever to come out of my clothes, but it was a nice snooze.

I don't understand why I never get to see them here around Tucson
I am out in the wild west
I love the woods and miss it
it is interesting you never got lost in the woods
maybe you feel at home there
