Making excuses and calling anyone who tries to point out their hipocracy in a serious policy debate a "disruptor"...
It would seem that she already had a presciption but faked a phone call to renew it. A bit more patience could have found her a doctor willing to dole out more prescriptions if her doctor refused. Barring that option, someone already posted a number of links to obtain Xanex without a prescription.
The fraud committed appears to be a new level of desperation for her.
The only case I recall hearing of a celeb faking prescriptions was Dano Plato who already had a criminal record including armed(?) robbery.
I don't know what the standard punishement is for a 3rd degree felony of this sort (first offense).
Different mitigating circumstances (especially in her legal past) will determine whether she serves any jail time.
This arrest could point to an increasing problem in her life, it could be the only time she got caught, or it could have been a fluke. Early to say.
