"What I'm trying to deal with is the reality of the fact that these individuals are here, they're working here, and they're driving here," said Colorado state Sen. Ron Tupa"

Since when does a politician deal with reality? The reality is illegal aliens are here illegally. They are taking more in welfare payments than they are producing. They have jobs that unemployed American citizens could fill.

Catering to illegal aliens is the biggest travesty in America today. This is one issue that will lead to the downfall of America. Illegal aliens bring more problems than they fix. When is America going to wake up to this?

Agree. In addition, the reality is that the politicos don't want to face the reality of the illegal alien problem because they might be accused of PROFILING. So they sit on their backsides and propose legislation that gives these slackers MORE rights under the guise of "easing highway safety concerns" for the rest of us. What a joke. And since when does having a license to drive make anyone a better driver or the highway safer? This PC crap has got to end...

"When is America going to wake up to this?"

I have read of poll after poll that shows immigration both illegal and legal is a top concern of the majority of Americans.
You have to wonder, if politicians, being the poll worshipers that they are, are not heeding the voters' concerns what exactly is behind this political push to keep immigration going?
That there is some ulterior motivation behind it is obvious from the fact they keep packing them in, even though American citizens want it to stop.
