why are statues that represent Justice standing naked?

Classic sculpture often depicts the human body. I suppose back in the day these statues were made, people weren't so sensitive and could handle it.

The PC police are not the ones wanting them covered.

Well, I agree, I could live with it. But I don't fault Ashcroft for thinking of it. I don't think we have the whole story here. It seems out of character for him, and the press would like nothing more than to knock him out-of-character. I am defending him inasmuch as arguing against the press report.
