Re "overestimating the numbers of REAL Republican women who are pro-choice" -- LOL -- there are MILLIONS of pro-choice Republican women, regardless of whether they are right-wing enough for many on Free Republic. Yeah, yeah, call us baby killers, Hitler lovers, communists, and all rest of the ridiculous adjectives aimed at pro-choice persons. What makes no sense is the hatred of Riordan, since he is being revealed by Davis as a PRO-LIFE candidate!

First, Riordan is the first to admit that he's the opposite of a pro-life a candidate.
Second, I don't consider most pro-abortion people "Hitlers." They're not like Hitler. They're more like the average decent Germans who did nothing to stop Hitler. They choose to ignore or silently approve of the inherently homicidal nature of abortion for a variety of reasons.

Gosh, judging from your posts, you are in quite the nasty mood tonight. I'm sorry. First, I don't 'hate' Riordan, I just don't care for him. Second, I'm not calling you any names. Third, I don't know who these MILLIONS of pro-choice Republican women are. I know there are a number out there, but most of my female friends are Democrats and consequently, we don't talk politics. I am not militant by any stretch of the imagination and you need to stop projecting your stuff onto other people. If you could just lower your defenses for a minute and set politics aside, from a compassionate point of view, how could you possibly champion the torture and killing of another human being who feels an incredible amount of pain in the process? A very wise woman said, "It is a poverty that a child must die so that another may live as they choose." That person was Mother Teresa. No one on earth has the inherent 'right' to kill. There has to be another way. I suspect I know why you reacted so strongly to this. I hope you find the healing you need.
