YOU ARE WITH US OR AGAINST US.
To: Pokey78
The Saudis are stalling here and had better make up their minds sooner rather than later. And, they shouldn't issue ANY type of warning to the US unless its of another pending terrorist attack.

felt considerable sympathy for the cause of the Saudi-born terrorist Osama bin Laden, even though they rejected the attacks in New York and Washington.Translation: most Saudis think that only four terrorist teams were not enough.

A classified American intelligence report taken from a Saudi intelligence survey in mid-October of educated Saudis between the ages of 25 and 41 concluded that 95 percent of them supported Mr. bin Laden's cause, according to a senior administration official with access to intelligence reports. This bears repeating.

If we don't deal with Islam now, then our children are going to have to pay.
Given the opportunity someday, they will destroy us.

These Arab big shots sure do a lot of puffing and blowing and threatening, don't they? And I love the part where he threatens us that big, bad Saddam will be "waiting for us" if we try anything. A US attack on Saddam will only strengthen him? I wonder what color is the sky in his universe. Even not having the base in Saudi Arabia would only inconvenience us, not make the outcome uncertain if we were determined.
His tyrant-family admiration for the big shot tyrant down the street couldn't be clearer, though, could it? I mean, the Saud are just rich fat kid bullies but Saddam - now there's a real tough guy, got a gang and everything.
Hey Nawwaf, I accuse Arafat of not being a man of peace. Nyah, nyah.

In a wide-ranging interview, Prince Nawwaf bin Abdul Aziz, the kingdom's director of the intelligence service, also acknowledged that after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, the vast majority of Saudi young adults felt considerable sympathy for the cause of the Saudi-born terrorist Osama bin Laden, even though they rejected the attacks in New York and Washington. Young adults who, I might add, were taught in Saudi schools and mosques, and who have been weaned on a diet of state-run media. Tell you what, Prince: you made your little monsters. You keep them in their cages.

Very interesting interview and worthy of some serious discussion. However, the thread will be deluged with people making brief anti-Saudi rants making that difficult for awhile.

I think Bush is finally ignoring his father and realizing they are the McSally decision indictated that.
