The (Enron) parent company lists its largest unsecured creditor as Citigroup (nyse: C - news - people) unit Citibank, to whom it owes $3 billion. It also owes the Bank of New York (nyse: BK - news - people) $2 billion and Chase Manhattan Bank, a unit of J.P. Morgan Chase (nyse: JPM - news - people), $1.9 billion. In addition, Enron lists a trade debt owed to Arthur Andersen, its auditor, of $2 billion. The auditor, of course, will be a defendant in lawsuits for much more than it is owed.
