Many undergraduates have vocally supported the war effort in these pages, and I have heard that a solid, if silent, majority of the College realizes that terrorism must be crushed.

For those who agree with me, I want to say this:

Please, if the scholar's life fits you, enter the academy and oppose the leftists who disdain America, who fail to realize the privilege of dissent that they can only have in a society such as ours, and who advocate a policy of appeasement to terror in the name of scholarly sophistication. Raise your voice in opposition to the tenured elites who control the terms of scholarly debate.

Well this approach is certainly better than my first inclination:

To burn these academic nests of traitors to the ground and see every Marxist pseudo-sophisticated, intellectually-fraudulant professor dangling from a rope.

Yes, it's a much better approach than what I had in mind.

While that would grant me a certain measure of satisfaction in justice done, I'm doing the next best thing.

Our almost 15 year old twins are learning to be philsophers, warriors and spiritually sovereign individuals. They're being trained to stand up and fight for their convictions. They're being trained to look evil in the eye, spit in its face and dare it to bring it on.

In recent times, they've refused to sign 'tolerance pledges', they've complained about a MLK 'rally' wherein the students were encouraged to feel like victims (side note: there was no such victimfest this year). They love to shoot and are pretty damn good at it. They're stright-A students to boot.

Their mom and I are so proud of them. They'll carry the battle to the enemy.
