Perhaps I should expand the point a bit. I used the words ant-etablishment to refer to constant and repeating anti Bush treads that I have seen recently. I used the word rhetoric to refer to the fact that most are opinions based on political sour grapes and not fact. In fact, many are out right lies that originated from socialist propaganda sites and picked up by the liberal media and then posted here for my reading enjoyment.

Upon posting a thoughtfull reply, I often find myself being labeled a Bushie!

I agree with you. That sort of stuff is grating.

I have been called "a country-club Republican" when I have supported Bush.

I however, disagree with his immigration policy. Then I get called all sorts of other stuff.

Can't say it bothers me. Political websites and opinions bring out pretty heated stuff.

The only thing I think should be absolute is to support our Armed Forces and President, when we are at war. Other then that, all opinions from a conservative viewpoint should be welcomed at this forum, as long as they are proferred in good faith.

You are right on target. This socialist propaganda, masquerading as constitutional concearn accomplishes two things:
1. It drives some of the Freepers away from a potential constitutional friend -- e.g. Bush.
2. It prevents other freepers from actually holding a potential constitutional friend's -- Bush e.g. -- feet to the fire as we must now wade through and debunk all of the propaganda to actually find some correct critical information on the potential constitutional friend -- e.g. Bush.
