O.K.,while we are expressing our peeves - I particularlly dislike it when a thread about some contemptible Democrat results in a contest of words discribing said Dem, Dashle becomes Da**hole and then someone else thinks of a worse epitaph and on and on. Hillary's garb becomes a crusty pantsuit and on and on. I start to think I am on DU with the principle subject changed. Waxman's nose seems to be a target currently. Aren't we more mature than this?
As a reformed Democrat surrounded by Dem relatives, I love to send relatives to this site, but cringe at the articles that result in this kind of one-upsmanship of name calling.
I do love vanities concerning computers and the operation of them. As an elderly, retired computer illiterate I find them most informative because of the wealth of information available from our kind Freepers, but I understand Jim's concern about the direction of this site

I agree. These “cute” play on words get tiring, after awhile, and they are not even funny or in most cases cleaver.
Anyway, that is my opinion.
