tastes like Nyquil... Is that supposed to be an improvement?!?;-)

Arrow brand cinnamon schnapps. Somewhat akin to chewing on tree bark soaked in formaldehyde. The reason 12 step programs were invented.

When I was in Korea they had something called 'Soju' (sp?). It would curl your nose hairs. I'm not kidding. They also had something called "Oscar". Fruit flavored pi**.
The best beer I ever had was San Miguel, in the Phillipines. There was this little bar that kept the beer in the freezer. They would bring it to you and you would have to break the crust of ice off the top. The would set an electric fan next to you while you drank.
It was 90 degrees with 100% humidity & I was in heavan.

Some beers are bad, some good, some mediocre; but there's only ONE beer I have found un-effin'-drinkable: Coor's Light (regular Coor's is OK).

I believe a tall icy cold glass of "Franks" sauerkraut juice comes pretty close to the top of the list. Full of Vitamin C, but would knock a buzzard off a gut wagon!

Coors Light. I got a bigger buzz from water.

Billy Beer. It was awful. I was with a group of Airmen at a party 25 years ago and we poured the stuff on the ground and used the rest of the cases for target practice. It was distressing years later to learn that the six packs were sought after collector items selling for up to $2500.

Wow...you just brought me back: It was 1966 and I was at the Olympic Fencing Camp at East Stroudsburg State College in PA. Went into a small deli with the guys one night for beer and we got San Miguel--one of the best beers I EVER had.

Psst. Don't drink the punch.

Just for your information, I was in Germany in the Army in the 60's. I believe the drink you are talking about was called KORN. It was a clear liquor served in small shot glasses after meals in the Guesthauses. If you drank a few German Beers with the meal and had a couple of shots of Korn afterwards; You would be lucky to find your way back to base in the next two days. More likely to end up with the M.P.s.

gin and milk
what can I say, I was 17 and didn't have any other mixers. After the milk curdles, it has these nice little lumps in it--
MMmmmm...gin & milk!

That stuff looks like the 'Jade East' cologne we used to drink, circa 1967.

A German liquor that was pronounced "Ratsapus" this stuff tasted like dirty diswatter and had to be 150 proff or better. Did three shots to win a bet and don't remember much of the rest of the night.I'd had half a dozen very potent German beers before the bet so it was BLOTO time.

An faux-German beer that I had once in Italy. I think it was called Schplugen or something like that. Another officer on the ship swore that he sent a sample to his girlfriend back in the states who worked in a medical lab and she sent back that his horse had kidney trouble.

The worst drink? Gotta be Moxie. At first it's not bad, but the cumulative effect is truly devastating. (No, it's not alcoholic; it's a soft drink, justly listed in
Felton and Fowler's Best, Worst, and Most Unusual as the worst tasting soft drink ever made...OK, technically Diet Moxie, which combines the taste of Moxie with the bitter aftertaste of saccharin, seized the laurels from regular Moxie.)
I've never had that French soft drink that's notorious for its name, Pschitt--just the name makes it sound bad. Has anyone ever had a bottle?
