POLL ON UPPER RIGHT HAND OF WEBPAGE.Freep this anti gun/anti rights poll.
Vote NO....the liberals here in Arkansas are trying to shove down our throats a "Child Access/Handgun Lockup Law" (or as Freeper Gov. Huckabee calls it "Lock up your freedom" or "Lock up your safety".
This will be broadcast in 2.5hours on our local TV Station.
Thanks!

No more than parents should be held responsible if their son joins al-Queda, IMHO.
Put *that* to a vote and see what happens.

Duly freeped.

I like how you think!!!! You can be sure that all the scum-sucking liberals would say that the parents did the best they could...yadda, yadda, yadda......
This poll is bogus......they have no numbers as to how many people have voted so it could be rigged easily!!!
To: DCBryan1
The wording on this pole is wrong-and I dont think there is a correct answer.Parents are always responcible for their childrens actions when damage is done.I understand the reason you called for a freep, but either way-the pole is not valid.

Done here. It doesn't look good. Need more FReepers on this.
To: DCBryan1
I concieved them, raised them, and taught them right from wrong...if they are minors in my house, you bet I'm responsible for their actions. Perhaps not criminally, but certainly civily. Why would I run from that responsibility? Why would you?

I'm more concerned about the story below it about X42 at the Baptist conference.
To: DSHambone
Because the question is loaded and the media down there have a set agenda. If the results aren't skewed, the take on them will be.

Notice all the gun crime articles surrounding the poll? Not one says how guns save lives.
Nothing like using the power of suggestion to sway the voters. This poll is a set up.
To: DCBryan1
Alright...I voted...doesn't look good, though. Maybe your fellow constituents will make their own rational judgments and *snicker/giggle/laugh* not fall prey to media hype. If you want to do some good, might I suggest moving to Illinois and voting for the "other" Jesse Jackson?
The only glimmer of sanity I've seen for this country as of late is here:
Rock for Life...but where was MTV?

Bump!
Freep this poll people......
To: DCBryan1
This is a poorly-worded poll (like others are perfect, right?) -- it should ask whether parents should be "criminally" responsible, as parents are generally held liable in civil courts for money damages as a result of torts committed by their children.
To: DCBryan1
is it possible to freep like bunnies?

Should parents be held responsible for harm caused by their children involving family owned guns?
Should government be held as a criminal co-conspirator when a rape or shooting victim didn't have ready access to a gun because it was locked away per government law?
John Stossel made a powerful point on one of his specials. I don't think I can describe it with near the impact that Stossel did, but here goes anyways...
The FDA held a highly effective life-saving drug off the market despite it being successful used in several European countries. Some kind of bureaucratic red-tape/snafu kept the drug from being available in United States.
Stossel continues, last year seven thousand peopled died from xxxxx. Doesn't that mean that the FDA killed seven thousand Americans last year?
