Since I had to ask this myself once...

The cheese and Moose thing, came from a Monty Python script that was on the web. In the comments on the script, written by the editor of the script or something, are comments that are meant to be funny, and the further you go down the script, the funnier and absurd the comments are.

Among them are comments about moose, and then the comment, "A Moose Bit my sister Once".

Comments about Cheese were on this, too. It all became an inside joke to those who saw the original thread, and then it confused so many people, it became funny in and of itself just to see the comments without any knowlege off the script connection.

I believe the Moose was dead, and the guy was trying to take it back to the shop.

Does that pic have links to the Fawlty Towers episode with the rat named Basil?

This will explain everything:

Veterinären kallade då in en husdoktor.

brain waves from Uranus, so you have to wear a tinfoil hat to filter them out.

I thought you had to wear the hat on your head?

Seriously, tinfoil hat originated from a movie in which that funny British actor wazzisname played a psychiatrist. In the movie he had a patient, Mr. Zukerman who followed him around who wore foil under his hat so space aliens couldn't steal his brain. The character was so halarious that tinfoil hat has become a widely used term in American slang. It means nuts and deluxional.
