OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE! BUSH SEEKS PRO-ABORT CHAIRMAN (CALL NOW!!!)
Capitol Hill Prayer Alert ^ | 1/18/02

Posted on 01/18/2002 10:40:25 AM PST by truthandlife

The Republican National Committee for Life is asking pro-life people to contact members of the Republican National Committee immediately, to urge them to vote against President Bush's nominee for Finance Chairman of the Republican Party. Here's the story.

**The Washington Times reported Tuesday that President Bush wants the Republican National Committee, meeting this weekend in Austin, Texas, to install Lewis Eisenberg as RNC Finance Chairman (see http://www.washtimes.com/national/20020116-95748156.htm). **Eisenberg is a liberal, pro-abortion activist and millionaire investment banker who raised millions of dollars for George W. Bush's presidential campaign.

**He is a close associate of former Governor of New Jersey, Christine Todd Whitman. Eisenberg and Whitman organized the Republican Leadership Council and the Committee for Responsible Government to raise large sums of money for pro-abortion candidates in Republican primaries.

**Eisenberg is committed to removing the pro-life plank from the Republican National Platform.

**Eisenberg, while his voter registration is Republican, has contributed to the political campaigns of pro-abort Democrats, among them Walter Mondale, Dick Gephardt, Tim Wirth, Chris Dodd, Bruce Babbitt and Joe Biden.

**In the early 1990's, Eisenberg, a married man with 3 children, lost his job at Goldman Sachs due to a sexual harassment lawsuit brought against him by a young woman with whom he had a 7-year affair.

**The Republican National Committee members were not informed in advance that they would be asked to vote for Eisenberg and many know nothing about him.

RNC for Life is asking pro-life Republicans to call their representatives meeting at the Hyatt Regency Hotel (phone number - 512/477-1234) and leave the following message: "Please oppose efforts to make Lew Eisenberg Finance Chairman of the RNC. Please elect someone to the position who supports the ideals and principles of the Party, whose values reflect those of Republicans in general, and whose personal reputation is not an embarrassment." A list of Republican National Committee Members is attached (For more information on RNC for Life see http://www.rnclife.org ).

Every pro-life Christian can understand the implications of the above information regardless of his or her party affiliation. America cannot survive as a nation if we continue to elect advocates of abortion to positions of influence and leadership.

TOPICS: Announcements; Front Page News; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS:
Heavenly Father, INTERVENE! PREVENT this man, who so aggressively advocates abortion, from being elected to this position of influence. Cause President Bush to understand that God cannot bless America if he continues to select leaders who call evil good. In Jesus' Name. Amen

I'm not so agitated by pro-abortion people being in positions that have nothing to do with abortion.

Everytime I get ready to send some money to the RNC I see an article like this and the check does not go out. And they wonder why people would rather contribute to candidates individully instead of the party.

Wasn't Karl Rove complaining recently about the "six million Christians who sat home" during the Presidential election of 2000? Brilliant strategy like this will put a democrat in the White House in 2004 (not to mention a couple of dozen demos in the House and senate later this year. It's all about perception...)

Eisenberg, a married man with 3 children, lost his job at Goldman Sachs due to a sexual harassment lawsuit brought against him by a young woman with whom he had a 7-year affair.

From which, one supposes, no children emerged.

Many people spend much of their lives fleeing the guilt of old crimes, and constructing rationalisations for them.

This is interesting. Eight years after donating $1,000 to Walter Mondale's campaign, Eisenberg and his three daughters attended the GOP convention and found the party to be "hostile to women." Of course, this would have been during the same time Eisenberg was carrying on his 7 year affair with a woman who would subsequently sue him for sexual harrassment:

When Lewis Eisenberg's three daughters were teenagers, they were turned on to Republican politics, volunteering at the GOP's 1988 convention in New Orleans.

Four years later, Patrick J. Buchanan delivered his harsh rhetoric at the Republicans' Houston convention, leaving the Eisenberg daughters feeling that the party was hostile to women and minorities.

''He made them feel as if there was no home for socially inclusive Republicans,'' said Eisenberg, a wealthy investor and chairman of the New York-New Jersey Port Authority.

**In the early 1990's, Eisenberg, a married man with 3 children, lost his job at Goldman Sachs due to a sexual harassment lawsuit brought against him by a young woman with whom he had a 7-year affair.

This guy is a complete jackass.

Neither am I. Some though have their 'blinders' on and refuse to listen to logic and common sense. It is they that will insure that liberals will be elected to Congress and they in turn will appoint liberal Supreme Court Justices. Those with the 'blinders' on will be responsible for the additional amount of years it will take to get Roe vs Wade overturned. And the millions of babies that will die because of the delay.

Flame away .. I'm ready

There is strength in numbers my friend. The more you have pro-murder candidates in high-ranking offices, the more pro-murder the party becomes.

The Phone Number to the RNC is 202-863-8500 and I also would call each of our congress and senate folks to have them contact the RNC to tell them how foolish this "choice" would be.

Also, email our President and hold him accountable to the teachings of the Bible he professes to live by. This is the season in which God is judging those who call evil good, and good evil; pray that President Bush is alerted and awakes to walk in truth, versus politics.
