Called ``Monica in Black and White,'' it largely consists of her answering questions from an audience of HBO staff and college students.

Uh huh. I'm sure some real tough questions get asked.

Well, not real tough questions (confession, I was an extra in this documentary, because they needed college students and hey...). Yeah, I threw a soft pitch, something about handbags. But there were other audience members that HBO arranged to have ask questions that made her cry. In some ways, quite unpleasant -- Monica has a very good way of having people around her suddenly start feeling sorry for her. Audience members were ready to beat up the tough-question characters. This is how Monica has survived -- because no one wants to hurt a soft-spoken, smiling girl who suddenly starts to sniffle.

Here's an article from last year about the Cooper Union interview session for the documentary (she cried then, too!). One excerpt:

...many students felt Lewinsky was "shallow" and "evasive" and that the evening with her was a waste of time. All audience members signed agreements that barred them from talking to reporters.

"Someone asked her how she thought the Clinton affair and public perception of it affected the national election," said a student from Brooklyn. "Lewinsky refused to answer. Can you beat that?"

Others said Lewinsky annoyed them by dodging simple questions like, "What do you think of Hillary Clinton as a senator?" Others said they were angry that she failed to apologize for having an affair with President Clinton when she was a White House intern, a scandal that nearly brought down the administration.
