Personally, I found it very disturbing that Mrs. Cheney's remarks not only were allowed to stand as she lunched with the ladies on campus but were cheered by many here at FR.

Assuming -- as wife of the Vice President -- she's privy to prevailing "opinion" and using same to form her public remarks, I see no reason we cut her some slack because she's some kind of "Junior Leaguer".

As a woman, I find that insulting.
