2002 - THE YEAR OF THE RADICAL..FREE REPUBLIC... OH REALLY?
ETHERZONE | SARTRE

Posted on 01/17/2002 6:21:17 AM PST by newsperson999

With the passage of time, every day matters. The direction of events and the ultimate consequences of the pivotal transformation in America, cannot be clearer. Yes, the War on Terror, is changing the Nation more than the horror of those eight Clinton years. The prime fault lies not with the Bush administration, but rests with the American People. That is not to exclude the President or his appointees from allowing this frightful trend to take hold. So what is this threat to civilization and the national heritage? Well, it should be obvious, it is called Patriotism.

Now before you lynch the messenger, consider the nature of National Loyalty. We are told that Patriotism is love for one's country, which is valid. But in practice, the current version of devotion to country, is defined as blind faith and obedience to government policies. We are continuously told that at no other time has the American public been so united. But the reality is, never have they been more wrong. Wrong to support a false and destructive policy to police the world, American style. CLICK FOR FULL ARTICLE..

-- reveals a more sinister intent.

All the better that he flagged you to it, then.

It's just good form, that's all, regardless the depth of the current dust-up between you. I did see the thread last night but really couldn't make heads or tails of it myself.

SARTRE is quite flattered that so many conservative republicans have concluded that the content in this article demonstrates disloyality to the foreign policy of both parties. Between the eagerness of the mob to lynch the bearer of this message, might there be anyone who has the courage to debate the Real Issues? If you were offended by the satire, you are not familiar with BREAKING ALL THE RULES. And for the claims that SARTRE is a Lefty, please read the author before you make a fool out of yourself. SARTRE has followed FR for a very long time and has always valued an open dialogue. If you censure those who disagree with the War Party, you will loose the Liberty that all true conservatives rightfully seek to defend. So what kind of character do you people possess? The courage to debate, or the fear to hasten the New World Order? A geniune conservative wants to restore the Republic. SARTRE follows the traditions of Allan Keyes and Pat Buchanan. Your emails will be answered at: sartre@frontiernet.net Visit BREAKING ALL THE RULES and read the content before you hang this messenger. http://sartre.info James Hall SARTRE

Will SARTRE's email replies also be written in the third person? William Wallace is curious.

ZDNET. That figures. I think the owner is famous among "progressives" for his strong stance on an "equitable redistribution of wealth".

Sartre. Just add nausea and stir.

DAVID HOROWITZ: THE MAN WHO IS MAKING CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIAN PATRIOTISM HIP AGAIN

Pretty neat trick for an atheist, pro-abort, relativist who's primary objective seems to be convincing the GOP they're "entitled" to take all the wrong pages from the Left's playbook.

Tell you what. We will see where we end up in 2-3 years, and see who looks like a fool. You or me.

LOL - well, it might be more like 5-10, but it's coming if things keep up as they are.

I'm not a fan of TBLSHOW's shenanigans any more than I'm a fan of M. Thatcher's informing my "flaglist" buddies that "Any friend of Askel5's is an enemy of mine."

I'm just saying that if you're going to make an off-color post like that, it's good form to give a heads-up to all you're dissing or somehow involving.

Unfortunately for the boogeyman pushers, most Americans are not scared by people going "boo" all the time. We tend to find them a lot like Chicken Little.

Anyway, I did a little google search on this author.

"Campaign Finance Reform

by James Hall, from the Left"

That is an example, with him preaching those campaign finance regulations that appeal to so many Constitutionally minded folks. See here.

Hey, here is his bio:

As a child James leafleted for Barry Goldwater's presidential campaign [Dales' note: maybe he knew Hillary? lol], supported the Viet Nam War, and read Ayn Rand.  As James grew older his opinions changed, and he learned to fight for them, outnumbered as he was.

[snip]
Along the way James' liberal activism was honed as a member of District 1908 of the Transportation/Communications Union at Disney...

And before anyone goes "you are attacking the messanger because you can't attack the message, please. There were no facts in the article. That was the first tip off that we were dealing with a leftist. Nothing but emotional appeals.

I fart in his general direction.

With the passage of time, every day matters.

This has got to be one of the worst opening lines in the history of English prose.

"SARTRE is the pen name of a reformed, former political operative"

IMHO, Sartre is a not "reformed" but an active political operative using a pen name to hide behind.

PLEASE for the record, your search results are in error! James Hall - from the Left is the 'bad seed' of the 'Dueling Twins'. SARTRE is James Hall - 'The Right' and creator of the 'Dueling Twins'. http://quicksitebuilder.cnet.com/sartre/TWINS/ Folks, you need to do your homework better. Fair enough.

Which campaigns did you work on?

And regarding the dueling twins- you still took the side of supporting campaign finance reform, which makes you a suspect person to be complaining about free speech issues.

5-10 years ago I was saying that America was headed for trouble, but that we could still stop it. Now I think it's too far gone. I hope I'm wrong.
