Perhaps it is invalid to equate such things as compulsory attendance and the forced extraction of money from all citizens in order to brainwash all children in the religion of the majority.

No plantation owner would dare try to tell his slaves that they were "free." But, according to democratic socialists like yourself, having one's children kidnapped by the state and having one's money taken by force to be used to promote values that one considers repugnant is true freedom.

I'll take the honesty of a slave owner any day over being kidnapped by a democratic socialist and forced to chant "freedom = slavery."
