Yes. And since our public school system tries to force every kid into a common mold, one must seek novelty or go stark raving mad.
Probably, Thomas Edison. Henry Ford, the Wright bros. , Einstein and countless other "misfits" had this problem.

Little boys are the progeny of warriors who survived battle to reproduce. Being hyper and alert was a huge advantage for warriors, and was easily controlled with military discipline.

What kind of advantage I wonder? If my child had this gene I would have to home school him rather than risk the medication they give them for it. I have heard that Retalin (sp?) works on the same area of the brain as cocaine does and some kids that have used it have grown up to be addicted to cocaine.
