If this is true, and I believe the National Enquirer is often correct on these matters, then the people involved reacted according to Christian princples as outlined in the Bible.
Does that include lying? Because if this is true, then both Eric Lovett and his Reverend father are lying:
"Lovett vehemently denies being part of any gay ring and insists he is not homosexual..."
"There has never been any gay activity, nothing at all, in all the years I have been here," said the minister.

Nah. The liberals lost their chance to demonize Bush politically , "big time."
BUT, Bush IS a Christian, therefore, attack his private life, and get the Christians with him. Try to kill two birds with one stone.

I did not read the article as carefully as I should have. If this is correct, then they are not behaving in a Biblical way. They are in a difficult position and I do not envy them. However, lying is wrong.
