I just saw Fidel Castro wearing a FDNY on TV, courtesy of our own Congress!!!

Forty-three years ago today, Fidel Castro rode into Havana, triumphantly, atop a Sherman tank after having defeated the Batista regime, ready to establish his own dictatorship.

Moments ago, on TV, I saw the old bastard sporting a brand-new New York Fire Department baseball cap, a gift from a visiting US Congressman.

Does anyone know who this rat bastard was that gave Fidel the opportunity to desecrate the memories of American Heroes?

I want this bastards name.

I have searched the net for a picture or an article after you first posted this last night. Sorry, no luck.

"What's the problem with Castro anyway?"

He had members of my family murdered.

"Just because Cuba is little country you can beat it up"

A little country whose dictator is responsible with 30 times as many deaths as Pinochet, who is an intrical part of the drug trafficking in this hemisphere, and who makes speeches stating that with the help of Muslim fundamentalists, he will bring the US to its knees.

"I bet all you so called communist haters are waring cheap t-shirts, pants etc..., flying US flags made in RED CHINA "

You lose.

Why is it that you commie lovers are always trying to make excuses for that murdering bastard?

What's the problem with Castro anyway ?

Well, actually the problem with Castro began when he and his revolution goons came and confiscated my family's house and business. It didn't matter that my grandfather had worked and built something from nothing so that he could take care of his wife and children. Then my family had to flee the land of their birth—leaving behind family members and friends who would die without food or medicine or hope in Cuba. Oh, they got some of them out, but not all of their loved ones. . .

I know your point is that it is hypocritical to criticize Cuba when we daily buy goods from China—the communist monster with an even worse record of murder and corruption. The point is taken. And I agree that it is a salient point.

However, sometimes people will discuss a subject on a more deeply personal level. Do I hate communism? ABSOLUTELY. I, in no way, agree with China's practices. But the regime in Cuba affected my family. I was born here, but I saw their struggle daily. It is personal. That is the passion you see against Castro on this thread.

Yes I did, can't help it if you have some sort of reading disfunction.

"don't bring your cuban politics here"

I bring what I want to bring wherever I want to bring it too, you don't like it, stop me.

But anyway, your reading disfunction is evident. What Cuban politics? Castro has vowed to help destroy the US, that stands for United States, where you supposedly live.

Trade with China sucks, I have done plenty against it, and continue to do so.

What have YOU done about Chinas other than reading Mao?

It sounds like something George Miller would do, he used to have lunch with Daniel Ortega at the same time that the Contras were fighting for freedom.

My outrage is getting spread thin these days.

Now now, CY2K.
Is that any way for a newcomer (wink-wink) to the forum to behave?

...newcomer schmucomer; there's nothing wrong with you neighbor, an average sized pair of testicles wouldn't cure.
