Hogwash. There's as much of a relationship between Hep B vaccine and food intolerance as there is between black cats and bad luck.

Marie, and all FReepers on this thread with kids, I really would encourage you to speak with your pediatrician for information on food allergies and intolerances. The doctor, despite the paranoid misinformation on this thread, studied medicine for ten years and has dedicated his life to the health and well being of children. He advises you to vaccinate your kids for the same reason he encourages you to use a child safety seat in your car or put childproof locks on your bathroom cabinets - so your kids won't die horribly when it could have been avoided.

The advice you get from whacko anti-vaccination fanatics on the internet is worth every cent you pay for it. Would you risk your baby's life on what "soebody on the internet" told you?

Thank you for your sincere concern. (and I'm not being sarcastic when I say that) The reason I asked was because my son has an unexplainable problem with malabsorbtion syndrome. He developed it at about 10 months and by 14 months he had lost 1/3 of his body weight and had stopped all linear growth. Things have improved, but after a colon biopsy, allergy tests and uncountable blood work he still has problems after 8 years. Right now I'm working on the gluten/lactose intolerance theory and a pure meat/veg/rice diet help a LOT. My daughter didn't receive the HepB, he did. I doubt that that is the problem, but as a mom it's my job to look at all the possibilities.

Every mother should read the small print on the form that the hospital requires them to sign befor they give the newbornsthe shots.

That should answr your question.

I have personally talked to five diffeent mothers of newborns that had the hepitisis B shot and every one of them is having a problem with their children adjusting to solid foods. Ask the MOTHER of the newborns also its very It's important to know if the shot was incubated by a chicken egg or an monkey.
