You can probably add cancer to the list of veterinary side effects. My kitty died of cancer a few years back. It began as a lump on the back of his neck near the shoulder blade. I used to get it cut out, but it returned more quickly each time and eventually entered his brain and I had to euathanize him. Anyway - my vet says cases like this are really occurring frequently and he (and other vets) think it's linked to the shots. The cancer is showing up in the same spot on many animals - exactly the spot where the shots are often given.

Please don't let anyone get to you. Some of them try to silence thinking people

The vaccines I use in my office are tested, proven, and safe. I have not had one incident of a reportable side effect to any of our vaccines. The reason for my concerns:12 years till the problem happens.Same reason there were no recalls.
To: IceCreamSocialist
Are you also deeply concerned about the flouridation in your water? Made me think of redvero there.
To: bonesmccoy
Which reminds me..... You didn't answer my most sincere & kindly FReepmail asking for ONE GOOD REASON why newborns or toddlers should be given Hep B vaccine.
As I sit here reading your later responses to everyone else yesterday, I see you're still blustering about with this 'attitude' that you know what is best for OUR children....
...and YET, you couldn't give me ONE SIMPLE explanation for requiring this vaccine.
I'M STILL WAITING!

I know when we went to Florida, the water was disgusting. It smelled like sulfur and tasted awful..What's up with that?

Then post your data. If you can't locate your data, then I submit to the freep readers that you are a marxist and posing as a participant here in order to subvert and undermine conservative networking in the United States.
To: Guenevere
1. Hep B is transmitted in a variety of ways. 2. You are not paying me for my time. I am VOLUNTEERING here and offering medical information (not ADVICE) based on FACTS. 3. You offer no arguments based on scientifically validated facts. 4. If you have any further questions, please pose them to your PHYSICIAN and PAY HIM/HER for their services.
To: karebare
Please post your evidence, instead of posting hearsay. You are not posting your evidence. Thus, as a duly-licensed physician, I am challenging your statement. What is the side effect which you are discussing?
To: karebare
Again, you're lack of evidence and corporate names/lines/products does not help me to identify the issues on my end. YOU MUST SUPPLY THE NAME OF THE COMPANY AND VACCINE FOR ME TO VERIFY.
YOU are the one making this argument, not me.
I have offered my professional (yet anonymous) participation in this process and permit you to confirm your conclusion through verifiable methods.
Currently, I think you are wrong and that you do not understand the methods of producing HepB vaccine.
But, I am going to save that ammunition for when I really need to prove you're just a green-loving marxist.

Notice in these posts that all the medically educated people are encouraging immunizations. (doctors, nurses, etc)You replied: I do not believe this statement.
Just go back and read the posts. It is clear. A few quotes:
"vaccinating them before they leave the hospital "just makes good sense," Dr. Cooper said."
"My daughter was born last December. When we told the hospital staff that we did not want her vaccinated for Hep B they looked at us like we were from Mars!"
I simply pointed out that physicians - who by the way, are educated on the risk and benefits, feel in favor of vaccination. Anyone who thinks pediatricians make money on vaccinations obviously have never ordered these medicines or billed for them.
To: bonesmccoy
Funny. Being suspicious(tin foil)about one thing would make me a greenie-marxist how?
It's been a few months ,and a computer ago.In my previous post I gave you the only 3 American owned pharm.co.'s. I know how the vaccine is made. With cow broth,I also know they don't heat it up enough to kill mad cow. I also know there weren't any recalls. The hep A is made in Europe only. I would like to find some made here.I would pay$1,000. I gave up.I decided to wait.

Well I understand from your response that he was older than the recommened age, I got my information from the CDC web site another poster linked to (not the article). It didn't mention earlier recommendations, currently it says newborn to 18yrs. I was not making a baiting comment, though I can understand how you might jump to that conclusion since the rest of this thread is filled with ridiculus comments, name calling, and disrupters. Some of us aren't experts about medical subjects and I was genuinly curious.

Avant,Incyte,Oravax,Are the U.S. owned companies. Smith Kline Havrix is the one that bothers me. The bovine material can't be traced . As far as side effects thats anyones question. Looks to me like 12 years till any.Ok I found my list.
Aventis Pasteur-S.A.'s Haemophilus Influenza
North AmericanVaccines DTaP,certva
Smith Kline DTaP
Smith Kline Beecham DtaP,Infantrix
They are not made here. The whole mess came about because of Clinton style should's instead of shall's at the USDA.

That ought to work.

You do realize that fluoride is naturally occurring in levels euqal to or greater than the recommended concentration in many areas of the counrty, don't you?No, I didnt know that. We used to have county water, we received a report as to what was "added" to our water. On the report, it stated that the flouride they used was the waste product/derivative from an aluminum factory. That was just one reason we put in a well. Public water systems are also the best "delivery" system for a corrupt government.
Natural floride in plants is actually good for you. This synthetic floride is not. Especially from the waste of aluminum.
Our water was tested through the extension service in our county. One the report we received under flouride, it stated "amounts undetectable".
To: IceCreamSocialist
When your unvaccinated kids get crippled by polio, do you want socialists to pay for your kids' physical therapy and full-time nurse? Or will you be covering those expenses out of pocket? You sound like those liberal socialists who promote fear to accomplish their goals. Are YOU really worried about "expenses?" I hardly think so. I bet your the type to turn in American citizens for not believing LIKE YOU DO! Are you one of those people who call social services on your neighbors kids? SECRETLY? Your user name is quit revealing...
