I have never seen anything within the New Covenant that suggests that a believer of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ must support a secular state OVER that of their brothers and sisters in Christ. Can you give any New Testament examples of Christians taking the side of the Jewish heirarchy over their brothers and sisters?

C'mon, now. This gets to the point where it gets really, really old.

Listen, as part of Biblical prophecy, Israel had to return. It has. No other country in the history of mankind that has ceased to exist has ever come back. Israel has, and this is God's doing. He told us so (Jeremiah, Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel). The New Testament speaks to the return of Israel (Revelations).

You are attempting to force me into appearing to say something that I have not said.

You wrote, "I have never seen anything within the New Covenant that suggests that a believer of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ must support a secular state OVER that of their brothers and sisters in Christ." Did I say that the New Testament tells us to support the secular state of Israel over fellow believers? NO! And, you keep focussing on Israel being a secular state. This has nothing to do with anything. Whatever type of government Israel has is moot with respect to the prophecies. The point is that God said that the bones (Israel) would return at His gathering, and it has. Period. Point blank. End of story. Therefore, my Zionism is with respect to the Israeli state now that it has returned. This is to glorify and praise God for we know now that His coming again is not too far away (look at biomed companies worldwide now saying that they can implant chips as small as a grain of rice into a human's skin for identification purposes. Where did we hear that first? The Book of Revelations, chapter 13; Mark of the Beast.)

You ask further, "Can you give any New Testament examples of Christians taking the side of the Jewish heirarchy over their brothers and sisters?" No, I can not because it is not in the Word. But it's irrelevant anyway.

Last time, the government system of Israel has little to do with my support for the physical state of Israel. That's focussing on man, but my focus is on God. I could care less what form of government Israel implements. Doesn't matter, just as long as the state is there, for when the Son of Perdition comes, he will set his rule from Jerusalem (the abomination that makes desolate). THEN will the Lord Jesus return and set his foot on the Mount of Olives. These things here must happen first. And they are happening, unfolding right before our eyes. Didn't the Lord tell us to watch?

Israel's rebirth and right to existence is not what I was responding to. It was your blithe dismissal of Christians being persecuted and forced out of the Holy Land. Prophecy may be unfolding and exciting but it does not negate ones Christian responsiblity to another Christian no matter who is doing the persecuting.

When I scrolled back through the responses I realized that I confused one of your reponses with someone else's. I apologize. Disregard my last response. How embarrasing. Hooked on phonics doesn't always work.:)

Come to think of it, the other post was to someone's response on another thread. Pray that I'm not becoming schizophrenic.
