IF DH was one of the engineers of the compassionate conservative bullshit, he needs his arse kicked a little higher!!! Charity forced at the point of a gun is NOT CHARITY but the redistribution of wealth, the Robin Hood syndrome! You try to present yourself as a Christian--if you are, surely you know that!
Believe me, DH could care less about a 'Christian' conservative society! He detests the idea of religion (other than that one the God $$$$$$) being involved with politics!
If you worry about degeneration and cultural drift....why are you looking to a lefty to give you the answers? While you're right that politicians have sold us false promises and a lot more, lefties ain't gonna help--they want more of the same old, same old. Besides Horowitz wouldn't know jack squat....you want to read or learn some of the sources of the problems, try reading Tragedy and Hope by Carroll Quigley.
I suggest you direct your prayers for the leaders we have and for Horowitz....and certainly for our Nation.
