To: Keyes For President
For whatever reason, some people either refuse to listen or cannot comprehend the simplicity of Alan's message. Some people despise Rush for the same reasons they dislike Keyes. Not everyone has a perfect personality, and just as Rush Limbaugh can tick people off because of the way he presents himself, Keyes does too. The vet's daughter has said, "I just don't like Alan Keyes" and then offers absolutely no concrete evidence why, other than generalities and comments about the good Doctor's pearly whites. That pretty much says it all.

That pretty much says it all. What kind of "concrete evidence" are you looking for, Registered? I've seen Alan Keyes. I've listened to him.
It's true, I don't like his silly mannerisms, but that's not what caused me to form my opinion. I don't like the "massah" routine. I don't like the "You don't give me coverage because I'm a black man!" routine (a/k/a THE RACE CARD). I don't like the way he dogs and picks at President Bush. I don't like the indirect, veiled reference to Bush's decision making and "evil". If that is not enough to dislike in your world, that is certainly your prerogative, but my opinion of him was formed during the campaign and he's done nothing to redeem himself that I can see. I realize how hard that is for some of you folks to accept, but please, try. I'm not trying to get you to dislike him, after all. Just expressing my opinion here.

On this thread Keyes has been compared to Mussolini, called a bozo, compared to Jesse Jackson, etc. And what did he do to instigate this latest round of attacks? Why he had the audacity to accept a job as host of a TV show!
So it's open season on Keyes. Everything is fair game. Just don't ever even hint at any imperfections regarding their favorite though. That's still off-limits.
