If President Bush said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the only-begotten Son of God, conceived in the womb of the virgin Mary, crucified for our sins, and risen on the third day," Keyes' response would be something like, "'Only-begotten' may translate the Latin unigenitas, but as a rendering of the Greek monogenes it is deficient, and I think it is shocking and shameful that a President of the United States could make such a misleading and ignorant statement!"

LOL! Careful Dan, Miss Marple doesn't appreciate this kind of satire -- prepare to be admonished!

I apologize for "pinging" you to this thread. To your credit, you have refrained from posting on this thread even though you dislike Keyes. You resisted the temptation to join in the Keyes bashing, and I should have resisted the temptation to try to bring you into this by drawing your attention to BibChr's satire of Keyes.
